The Driving Services Section announces on February 19, 2021 to reduce the risk of the spread of the virus, infection control measures will be implemented. The Government announced on Feb 22, 2021 that starting from March 1, members of the public will be required to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app before entering government buildings or offices.
To allow members of the public to familiarise themselves with the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app, from February 22 onwards, the Driving Service Section (“DSS”) will first remind members of the public to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app at the entrances of DSS office building and all driving test centres.
Starting from March 1, members of the public will be required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code or register their names, contact numbers and the date and time of their visits before entering DSS office building or driving test centres for necessary contact tracing if a confirmed COVID-19 case is found. To fight the epidemic together, we appeal for visitors' co-operation with the instructions given by the staff on site.
